First Lego league is a fun way to integrated engineering and STEM learning from a young age. Helping kids work in self paced, project based group setting. You can get more information here (link).
FLL Explore is designed for kids aged 2nd to 4th grade to learn basics of robotics, making a an innovative creative model.
Kids will be learning basics of robotics using Spike essential and block coding. Some advanced Lego contraptions using Lego techniques. This will help them with understanding of mechanical engineering and some computer science.
At the end of the season (Usually first or second weekend of December), they will be an FLL festival - kids will spend 15 -30 minutes sharing their journey with the judges. This will give them opportunity to practice public speaking.
We have a team of experienced coaches guiding kids on how to work in team environment, work on their differences, bring their innovation out. All the while having fun. Kids will work in teams of 3-6 age appropriate groups with similar skill sets. personalized attention to each kid.
From September beginning to mid-December one hour every week. Frequency will increase closer to the festival to practice speeches and work on the poster board. Parents will be requested to assist in some capacity in this timeframe.
We have prep season to help kids work in team setting. Hone in their programming and building skills. They will also be prepare to be ready for First LEGO League challenge program which is competitive format.
