FLL Challenge Competition

Our 5-month FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Challenge Competition Course, running from August to December, immerses students in grades 5-8 in experiential learning that combines robotics, coding, and innovation into a fun competitive framework. Using LEGO SPIKE Prime Hubs, participants will design, build, and program robots to complete missions on the FLL Challenge game board. Additionally, students will unleash their creativity by developing potential solutions to real-world problems as part of their Innovation Project. This course fosters collaboration, critical thinking, STEM expertise, and the development of essential 21st-century skills, preparing students to thrive in a rapidly evolving world. Furthermore, the course emphasizes community building by fostering a sense of camaraderie and cooperation among students. Through collaborative projects and team-building activities, students will learn to value each other's strengths, support one another, and work towards common goals. A central focus of the course is on Core Values such as teamwork, discovery, and innovation. Students will learn the importance of working together, respecting diverse perspectives, and leveraging the strengths of all team members to achieve common goals. They will be encouraged to explore new ideas and solutions, fostering a culture of curiosity and creativity. Moreover, the course stresses the significance of making a positive impact on the community, highlighting the importance of inclusivity, kindness, and respect. These Core Values are integral to the FLL Challenge and help students develop skills and qualities that are essential for success both in the competition and in life.
