Our 5-month FLL Explore Prep Session, running from February to June, is designed to introduce students to the exciting world of STEM and prepare them for the FLL Explore competition course. This hands-on program focuses on building foundational skills in block-based coding, exploring engineering concepts, and fostering problem-solving abilities. Using LEGO SPIKE Essential kits, students will design, build, and program interactive models while working collaboratively to develop creative solutions inspired by real-world challenges. A key emphasis is placed on the FIRST Core Values—teamwork, discovery, inclusion, innovation, impact, and fun—helping students develop essential life skills while fostering a sense of community and shared purpose. Perfect for beginners, this engaging introduction to robotics, innovation, and community-building lays the foundation for a successful and rewarding FLL Explore experience. Program Details Our season runs from February 2025, to June 2025, with sessions held every Sunday from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at: 📍 iCode Bellevue 1415 158th Pl NE, Bellevue, WA 98008 We will follow the Lake Washington School District (LWSD) calendar, so we will meet on the following dates: 📅 Meeting Dates February: 2, 9, 23 March: 2, 16, 23, 30 April: 6, 20, 27 May: 4, 11, 18 June: 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
